Via Ferrata Ari is the most advanced adventure experience in Kosovo. Although it is full of adrenaline, no prior training is required. Around 90% of our visitors try it for the first time. Still, your heart will race as you climb vertical ladders high above the Rugova Canyon, reaching unparalleled views of the surrounding mountains. It’s an absolute must during your visit to Kosovo. For the brave, Via Ferrata Berim is also an option.
Discover ancient caves that have been used over the years by monks, villagers, or soldiers (depending on who you ask), and that now serve as shelters for native birds and other wildlife.
Via Ferrata means “iron path” in Italian. It is a climbing technique where climbers follow a series of steel cables and ladders while always being securely attached to the rock. With the support of Italian experts from the Dolomites and using the most modern techniques and equipment, Via Ferrata Ari is as safe as it is unforgettable. The climb and descent usually take around 2–3 hours.
Would you like to prepare for Ari? Start with Via Ferrata Mat (2 hours), our newest route, offering a gentler, more horizontal path along the river while still providing impressive views of the canyon. The technical difficulty of both routes is similar, but each has its own charm.
Try them both and see for yourself! No climbing experience is required for either route. You will receive full technical and safety instructions before starting. The company provides EU-certified equipment in accordance with European standards. You will be equipped with a helmet, harness, and Via Ferrata set. Gloves are available upon request for an additional fee.
