A few years ago, we shared a special story from the mountains — the proposal of Ardian Krasniqi to Dorontina Hysenaj, which happened during one of our Via Ferrata adventures in the Balkans.
It was one of those moments that reminded us that travel is not only about places, but also about the people we meet along the way.
Today, we are happy to share the next chapter of their story.
Since that unforgettable “yes,” Ardian and Dorontina got married and recently welcomed a new member to their family: their son, Doar.

The photo was taken in Café Dio in Peja, where they met again with Virtyt Gacaferri, one of the founders of Balkan Natural Adventure. Seeing them now as a family was a special moment and a reminder that some connections created through travel continue far beyond the original journey.
What began as an adventure in the mountains has now become a beautiful family story. We are honored to have been a small part of it.
We wish Ardian, Dorontina, and little Doar many happy adventures in the years ahead.
